What you need to do
- Identify and engage potential FMCG suppliers and third-party vendors to build a robust sales pipeline for the Insights and Reach verticals.
- Conduct ongoing research to identify new supplier categories and untapped market opportunities to expand the partner ecosystem.
- Lead negotiations on contract terms and value-based pricing to ensure profitability while maintaining a competitive market edge.
- Transform one-time advertisers and ad-hoc data users into long-term, recurring strategic partners to ensure consistent revenue.
- Drive market adoption of the Digital Insights Portal by migrating partners from manual reports to automated subscriptions.
- Develop new sales initiatives and propose new product developments to enhance the existing portfolio for both insights and reach.
What you need
- A degree level qualification in business administration, management, or marketing. Professional qualifications in Marketing such as CIM, SLIM or a related field will also be considered.
- Entry-level candidates or those with up to one year of experience in business development, or key account management, preferably in retail or FMCG.
- Professional pitching and negotiation skills.
- Ability to conduct market research and identify growth opportunities.
- Strong data literacy and the ability to communicate the value of digital platforms to partners.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- A proactive and ambitious mindset, with a results-oriented approach and the ability to work collaboratively as a team player.
