Job Description
ICT Distribution is afast-growing regional distributor of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, andconsumer tech products. With offices across Southeast and South Asia, we arestrengthening our finance operations in Sri Lanka and seeking a capable Accounts Associate to manage daily accounting, tax compliance, and operational support.
Job Summary:
This role is hands-on and requires attention to detail, particularly in managing historicalaccounting data, monthly reconciliations, and strengthening VAT and tax compliance. The successful candidate will work closely with the Regional GM and external accountants toensure a smooth financial operation and proper audit readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily bookkeeping and data entry in QuickBooks and Zoho (ongoing systemtransition)
- Bank reconciliation and managing petty cash and expense claims
- Preparing monthly financial reports and payment summariesManaging accounts payable/receivable and follow-ups with vendors
- Coordinating with auditors and outsourced accounting firmon tax filings (WHT, VAT,monthly reports)Processing staff payroll, NSSF, and tax on salary submissions
- Assisting with inventory and asset register updates
- Filing documentation for tax audits and financial records
- Supporting year-end closing and externalaudit processes
- Providing administrative support as required by the Regional GM
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience:2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in Sri Lanka
Skills:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Zoho, or similar accounting software
- Strong knowledge of Cambodian tax compliance (VAT, WHT, Salary Tax, NSSF)
- Good English and Khmer communication skillsDetail-oriented, reliable, and well-organized
- Ability to workindependently while coordinating with regional support team
