We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Transport Executive to manage day-to-day transport operations, ensure accurate vehicle documentation, and coordinate seamlessly with drivers, internal departments, and external service providers. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining fleet compliance, overseeing insurance and license renewals, monitoring repairs and maintenance, and supporting the Transport Manager in optimizing the overall transport function.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee day-to-day transport operations, including vehicle allocation, driver attendance, and leave management.
- Maintain accurate records of daily meter readings, insurance, licensing, repairs, and other fleet documentation.
- Coordinate with external partners such as hire vehicle companies, service centers, insurance providers, and the Department of Motor Traffic.
- Handle vehicle insurance and license renewals, obtain quotations, and process approvals and payments on time.
- Monitor and follow up on vehicle and motorbike repairs, service schedules, registrations, and transfers as instructed by the Transport Manager.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS
- Minimum 2 years of experience in fleet management or transport operations.
- Strong knowledge of insurance renewals, licensing procedures, and vehicle registrations.
- Ability to maintain organized documentation and handle approval/payment processes accurately.
- Good coordination and communication skills to work with internal departments and external service providers.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic record-keeping tools.
