Quantity Surveyor / Estimator / Commercial Manager

ISF Group is a reputable and fast-growing construction company based in Nadi, Fiji Islands. We deliver a wide range of general construction projects including commercial, industrial, refurbishment, and fit-out works. We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Estimator / Commercial Manager with strong contract administration capability to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed Estimates, BOQs, cost plans, and tender submissions for general construction projects.
  • Lead contract administration across all project stages, including:
    • Drafting, reviewing, and managing subcontract agreements
    • Preparing, evaluating, and negotiating variations
    • Managing EOT claims, contractual notices, and compliance with contract conditions
  • Administer and interpret AS4000, Australian Standard construction contracts, and New Zealand Standard contracts.
  • Manage commercial reporting, cost control, cashflow forecasting, and project financial performance.
  • Conduct site measurements, valuations, and prepare monthly payment applications.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to identify risks, and commercial opportunities.
  • Negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to secure competitive pricing.
  • Support project managers with procurement, budgeting, and contract compliance.
  • Prepare and defend claims, substantiation, and formal commercial correspondence with clarity.

Key Requirements

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in QS/Estimating roles with strong contract administration exposure.
  • Experience working with AS4000, Australian Standard contracts, and/or New Zealand Standard contracts would be an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of construction contract principles, variations, claims, and commercial obligations.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Projects and QS/estimating software.
  • Ability to relocate to Fiji and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
