Ayurvedic & Local Cuisine Chef
Ayu Wellness Wilpattu is looking for a talented Ayurvedic & Local Cuisine Chef to craft nourishing, flavourful menus for our wellness guests.
We are seeking a chef who combines mastery of authentic Sri Lankan local cuisine with experience preparing wellness and Ayurvedic-inspired dishes. This role leads our kitchen and shapes a dining experience that supports our guests' wellbeing.
Responsibilities:
- Design and prepare Ayurvedic, wellness, and local cuisine menus
- Source fresh, seasonal, and local ingredients
- Tailor dishes to guests' dietary and wellness needs
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation
- Lead and manage kitchen operations and staff
Requirements:
- Proven experience in local Sri Lankan cuisine and wellness/Ayurvedic cooking
- Background in resorts, hotels, or wellness retreats preferred
- Strong knowledge of nutrition and clean, healthy food preparation
- Leadership and kitchen management ability
