Assistant – Imports (Borella)
The Job:
The Assistant – Imports supports the import process by coordinating documentation, tracking shipments, communicating with suppliers and freight partners, and ensuring timely customs clearance and delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain import documentation accurately.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and clearing agents.
- Track shipments and update delivery status.
- Assist with customs clearance and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain import records and prepare basic reports.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in imports or logistics (preferred).
- Basic knowledge of import procedures and documentation.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
