JUNIOR EXECUTIVE - GROCERY CATEGORY

As our grocery business continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated and commercially minded Junior Executive – Grocery Category to support the management and growth of one of our key product categories.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual who is passionate about retail, enjoys working with data and suppliers, and is eager to build a successful career in category management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in planning and executing category strategies to achieve sales and profitability targets.
- Support supplier coordination, purchase planning, and product availability.
- Assist in managing product assortments, new product listings, and category expansion initiatives.
- Coordinate promotional campaigns, pricing updates, and merchandising activities.
- Monitor inventory levels, sales performance, and customer purchasing trends.
- Prepare category performance reports and support data-driven decision-making.
- Work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Finance teams to ensure smooth execution of category plans.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities.
- Ensure product information, pricing, and promotions are accurately maintained across all sales channels.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Management, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in Retail, FMCG, E-Commerce, Purchasing, Merchandising, or Category Management.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
- Good negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
