Vacancy for Consultant Resident Engineer for Industrial Building at Mawathagama.
A leading Architectural practice is seeking a dynamic, hardworking, and experienced Resident Engineer for a proposed Industrial building in Mawathagama. He shall have practical problem-solving skills in the construction field and have good PR skills with the Client/ Consultant and the Contractor.
Position:
Resident Engineer
Qualifications:
NDT/HNDE/TTI in Engineering (Civil) from UGC recognized university/institution.
Experience:
Minimum of 08 Years experience in the construction field, having Industrial steel building constructions with an eye for finishes will be an advantage.
Employment Type:
Contract Basis/ Consultant (10 Months extendable)
Preferred Age:
35 - 65 Years
Key responsibilities:
- Site Coordination with Client/ Consultant and Contractor
- Total site Supervision covering architectural, structural, and MEP (Especially structural steel erection)
- Project management, including Daily and weekly Programming of construction Activities, Progress report Preparation
- Monitoring Quality Assurance and Safety of the Site
- Monitoring finishes of the building as per the Architectural and Structural specifications
- Coordination of MEP works with relevant parties/ Consultants.
- Assisting the Consultant Qs in checking bills.
- If residing close to Kurunegala / Mawathagama will be an advantage
Remuneration:
Negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
