We're Hiring! Counsellor (Career Guidance Unit)
This role responsible to guide and support students in making informed academic and career decisions by providing personalized counselling, promoting suitable educational pathways, and encouraging progression within the Royal Institute Group while contributing to student success and institutional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalized academic and career guidance to prospective and existing students.
- Advise students on the most suitable academic pathways and encourage progression from Royal Institute International School (RI) to Royal Institute Campus (RIC).
- Stay updated on career trends, higher education opportunities, and industry pathways.
- Conduct engaging career guidance sessions, workshops, and presentations for students and parents.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Royal Institute Group programmes, with a strong focus on Royal Institute Campus (RIC).
Skills & Capabilities
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in student counselling, career guidance, academic advising, admissions, or a customer-facing advisory role.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of career planning and higher education pathways.
- Ability to build trust and develop meaningful relationships with students and parents.
- Passion for student success with a proactive, service-oriented approach.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
