POSITION: Retail Cashier
Key Responsibilities:
- Operates POS equipment: cash registers, barcode scanners, scales, card terminals.
- Processes cash, credit/debit, and mobile payments.
- Counts & balances cash drawer at shift start & end.
- Issues receipts, refunds, store credits, vouchers, and change.
- Supports inventory: restocking shelves & returning items during slow periods.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- G.C.E. A/L – Minimum 3 Passes (Commerce or Maths).
- Any accounting diploma.
- Good communication skills with working knowledge of English.
- Basic computer literacy: POS systems, Microsoft Office, accounting software.
- 1-2 years experience in a supermarket/grocery store.
