MANAGER / ASSISTANT MANAGER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve business growth.
- Promote world-renowned textile auxiliary and specialty chemical brands to garment manufacturers, fabric mills, dye houses and textile processors.
- Identify new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing customers.
- Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and customer trials in collaboration with overseas principals.
- Monitor market trends, customer requirements and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
- Coordinate product launches, seminars, technical workshops and marketing campaigns.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets and regular management reports.
- Work closely with international principals to introduce innovative products and solutions to the Sri Lankan market.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through responsive technical and commercial support.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Textile Technology, Textile Chemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Marketing or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 - 8 years of experience in technical sales and marketing within the textile, apparel, chemical or allied industries.
- Experience with textile auxiliaries, dyes, garment washing chemicals, printing chemicals or specialty chemicals will be a distinct advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with strong business development capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Possession of a valid driving licence.
- Willingness to travel throughout Sri Lanka.
