Cocotana Coconut Products, a manufacturer and exporter of Coconut related products are now seeking for self-motivated individuals, to join our team of professionals in the positions mention bellow at our manufacturing plant at, Katana, Negombo.
Vacancy: Can Seamer Technician
Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hand on experience in operating, setting up and troubleshooting production or packaging machines such as seamer, labeler and fillers.
- Timing and adjusting of the machines for better operation.
- Ability to interpret basic technical documentation, such as machine manuals, checklist and simple diagrams.
- Complete production and maintenance records accurately.
- Knowledge of quality control practices, including visual inspection, measurement of seamers or components and adherence to defined product specifications.
- Commitment to workplace safety, including safe machine operation, lockout/ tagout practices (if applicable) and adherence to company safety guidelines and housekeeping standards.
- Good problem - solving and communication skills with and ability to work effectively in a production team and co-ordinate with quality staff and co-ordinate with supervisors, quality staff and maintenance personal.
- Willingness to work full-time in Katana, including shift work or overtime if require support production needs.
- Previous experience in food and beverage, canning or high-speed manufacturing environments is an advantage.
- Relevant technical or vocational training in mechanical industrial or maintenance fields beneficial.
- Millwright fitter would be beneficial, but not essential.
