VACANCY
STUDENT COUNSELLOR
We are seeking a compassionate, qualified, and dedicated Student Counsellor to join our school community. The successful candidate will support students' academic, emotional, social, and personal development while promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counselling services
- Support students with emotional, behavioral, and academic concerns
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school leadership
- Conduct well-being programs and workshops
- Maintain confidential student records
- Make referrals to external professionals when necessary
- Promote safeguarding and student welfare initiatives
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Counselling, Education, Social Work, or related field
- Professional counselling qualification
- Minimum 2 years' experience in counselling, preferably within a school environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of child and adolescent development
