WE ARE HIRING! Cashier
Automobile Technologies (Pvt) Ltd, the authorized agent of GAC in Sri Lanka, is looking for a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to join our growing team. If you have strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for providing excellent customer service, we'd love to hear from you.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive and process customer payments accurately through cash, card, and bank transfers.
- Issue official receipts and maintain accurate transaction records.
- Reconcile daily cash collections and prepare end-of-day reports.
- Handle invoicing and support finance-related documentation.
- Coordinate with the Sales and Finance teams to ensure smooth payment processing.
- Respond professionally to customer inquiries related to payments and receipts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and internal financial controls.
REQUIREMENTS:
- G.C.E. AL & Diploma or Certificate in Accounting, Finance, or a related field will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Cashier or in a similar finance-related role.
- Good knowledge of cash handling procedures and basic accounting principles.
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good computer literacy, including MS Office applications. Experience with ERP/accounting systems will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Honest, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
