Role

  • To assist the Executive chef in creating the optimum customer satisfaction by providing the highest standard of food quality and presentation at the same time maximizing the profit margins through effective management of all kitchen functions
  • Directs and controls all subordinate kitchen associates to ensure that all day-to-day operational matters are handled on time and guest experiences are met
  • Monitors the consistency of preparation and presentation in all food production areas to ensure that they conform to the requisite standards

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum five (05) years’ experience as a Thai Chef de Cuisine for a reputable award-winning modern restaurant or hotel
  • Experience in cooking, presenting and standardizing recipes and experienced in conducting/audit checks
  • Attended accredited training programs on hygiene and food safety controls
  • Flexible to relocations and adaptable to different working environments
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, proficiency in another language is an added advantage
  • Required to perform pro-actively and independently and an determine policies within strategic, given guidelines
