JUNIOR EXECUTIVE- QUALITY CONTROL
Dipped Products PLC seeks a dynamic, results-oriented individual to be recruited as Junior Executive-Quality Control for its manufacturing facility at Hanwella.
Job Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility of Quality Control Department at the factory
- Ensure Quality Assurance-oriented inspections are carried out throughout the process of manufacturing of Household and Industrial gloves as well
- Ensure relevant QMS is in place, as well as strict adherence to SOPs
- Work with suppliers and ensure only quality-assured incoming materials are used in production, as well as in the TSPs
- Minimization of cost of incoming inspection through QA process which contributes to quality of finished products
- Ensuring the products meet mutually agreed respective standards of Quality
- Supervise the team of inspectors who carry out the detailed assessment of products and their components and different style of production
- Introduce and utilize proper quality tools/software to support the inspection team
- Analyze customer complaints and identify specific problems or trends over time.
- Develop and monitor continual improvement programs in Glove, aiming to reduce no of defects and improve the level of quality.
- Prepare COC / COA for pre-shipment inspection and participate in product audits
- Ensure equipment’s are calibrated/ verified as per the requirements.
Candidate Profile
- A bachelor’s degree/NDT from a recognized University or any other Degree/Diploma in the relevant field – Latex/Rubber/Quality field preferred
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience preferably in a Manufacturing company
- Knowledge on ISO 2859-1 Inspections system
- Sound knowledge in Glove Industry/Quality Assurance /Quality Control would be added advantage.
- Knowledge in product testing Exceptional communication skills in written and spoken English and Sinhala
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and a strong results orientation
- Ability to work well in both team-oriented and self-directed environments
- Sound knowledge of the MS Office suite
