MANAGER - PRODUCTION PLANNING (HEAD OFFICE, WATTALA)

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, maintain, and monitor production plans using the FastReact planning system to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders.
- Plan and optimize production capacity across multiple sewing lines and factories to achieve maximum efficiency.
- Coordinate with Merchandising, Industrial Engineering, Production, Cutting, Procurement, Stores, Quality Assurance, and Logistics to ensure seamless production flow.
- Review order loading, line allocation, capacity availability, and make adjustments to meet customer priorities.
- Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to minimize delay.
- Provide regular reports and recommendations to management, lead production planning meetings, and communicate production priorities to relevant departments.
- Coordinate capacity with external stakeholders for wash/dye, printing, embellishment, and sub-contract.
- Coordinate with Merchandising team and ensure timely availability of fabrics, sewing and packing trims.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- MBA or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Production & Operations Management, Textile & Apparel Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of production planning experience in the apparel manufacturing industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
- Hands-on experience using the FastReact Production Planning System is essential.
