JOB VACANCY FOR SUPERVISOR POST – AMAZONIA AQUACULTURE

JOB PROFILE:
Post of supervisor. This is a total field job that requires you to work on site. Those who apply should be team players who are self motivated, who are ready to work hard on the field, eager to learn and to perform under competitive and demanding atmosphere.
All applicants will go through a 3 month training / probation period where trainees will be given tasks to get firsthand experience on their job.
RESPONSIBILITIES: THIS IS A FIELD JOB WHICH REQUIRES ON SITE
- Manage and assist in the management of ornamental fish
- Supervise and instruct staff on all related matters on husbandry of live fish
- Maintaining related documents , stocks and records
- Coordinate with staff members to gain the best productivity
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:
- Male or Female – 20 to 40 years
- GCE A/L or higher qualification
- Job experience as a supervisor in a related field of aqua culture will be an added qualification. Such an applicant will be evaluated for direct trainee supervisor appointments with a starting salary of Rs 50,000
- Ability to work on weekends and public holidays
- Ability to stay in shared quarters with other supervisors ( Female and male quarters are set separately)
- Ability to perform under pressure and high level of dedication
- Ability to work extended hours
OFFERED FACILITIES AND SALARY
- Salary during training / probation period (first 1 - 3 months) will be Rs. 40,000
- After completing 3 month training / probation period, successful trainees will be appointed as trainee supervisors with a salary of Rs 50,000. Successful trainee supervisors who completes further 6 months will be appointed as supervisors with a salary of Rs 60,000
- Free food and accommodation will be provided
- Free uniforms will be provided
- 4 holidays per month
- Faster promotions and salary increments will be given based on performance.
