POST OF KITCHEN AND LAUNDRY TECHNICIAN (ENGINEERING)
Vivanta Colombo Airport Garden is seeking a talented and passionate Kitchen and Laundry Technician to join our Engineering Department. Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of kitchen and laundry equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and plumbing-related faults in kitchen and laundry machinery.
- Ensure all equipment operates efficiently and safely to support hotel operations.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintain maintenance records.
- Adhere to safety standards, hotel policies, and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Kitchen and Laundry Technician or in a similar technical role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Sound knowledge of commercial kitchen and laundry equipment, including electrical and mechanical systems.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures and preventive maintenance practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
- Relevant technical qualifications or certifications will be an added advantage.
