LOKK Security Services (Pvt) Ltd is a Ministry of Defence-certified private security solutions provider in Sri Lanka, delivering end-to-end security services for corporate, institutional, residential, and high-risk environments. Established in 1993, LOKK brings over three decades of proven expertise in safeguarding people, property, and operations with professionalism, discipline, and reliability.
We are looking for a dedicated, responsible, and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team and manage the company’s finance and accounting functions while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle day-to-day accounting activities while maintaining accurate financial records and proper documentation.
- Prepare monthly accounts, financial reports, reconciliations, and schedules within required timelines.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and follow up of customer payments.
- Carry out bank reconciliations, cash flow monitoring, fund transfers, and other banking-related activities.
- Ensure statutory and tax-related payments, filings, and compliance requirements are completed on time.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, internal departments, and management when required.
- Support management with budgeting, cost control, financial analysis, and decision-making reports.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS
- AAT member or part qualification in CA, CIMA, ACCA or any recognized accounting qualification.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, statutory compliance, and reporting standards.
- Experience in accounting software, MS Excel, and preparation of reconciliations and financial reports.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle confidential information professionally.
- Previous experience in a service-based, manpower, or security-related industry will be an added advantage.
