To keep our spaces running like clockwork, we are looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our team.
The Role
Ensure all Center buildings are in top operational condition. Manage routine maintenance, repairs and upgrades to reduce or completely prevent any failures and operational downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Walkthroughs: Inspecting communal areas, meeting rooms, and offices to spot and fix issues before clients notice them.
- First-Line Repairs: Handle basic plumbing (unclogging sinks, fixing leaks), minor electrical tasks (changing lightbulbs, testing fuses), and general carpentry (adjusting doors etc).
- Painting & Decorating: Touching up paintwork and minor scrapes and other issues.
- Furniture Setup: Assembling, moving, and reconfiguring office desks and chairs for new clients.
- Coordinating deliveries from vendors and suppliers and vendor escort: Assisting external contractors (like HVAC technicians or lift engineers) during specialized repairs.
- Performing quality checks on HVAC, air conditioning, plumbing and electrical systems
- Health & Safety: Keeping walkways clear, checking fire extinguishers, and ensuring the workspace complies with safety standards
- Checking and responding to security and safety issues
- Testing and recommending new maintenance products
- Keeping documents of inspections and problems
- Keeping an inventory of cleaning and repair supplies
- Initiate a preventative maintenance program with regular inspections.
- Training junior staff, if applicable

- A friendly, polite, and professional attitude is a must.
- Reliable and Punctual.
- Physically Fit: The role involves lifting furniture, climbing ladders, and being on your feet for most of the day.
Qualifications / Experience Requirements
- At least one year of professional maintenance experience is required.
- Literacy skills - English, Sinhala and Tamil will be an added advantage
- A motorbike licence would be an added advantage.
