Area Manager – Anuradhapura
Manage every aspect relating to the branch operation and develop the business portfolio of the assigned branch/s in compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.
Key Responsibilities
- Development and execution of the area business activity plan in line with the area General Insurance business strategy.
- To achieve the set General Insurance revenue targets of the area through development of General Insurance sales teams to focus on key business KPIs.
- Identifying the potential of the area and implementing effective promotional campaigns.
- Recruit, develop and retain high quality manpower for General Insurance sales teams.
- To execute training and development programs which are scheduled for the sales and support staff.
- Provide market intelligence for effective decision making.
Requirements
- Minimum three passes in G.C.E. A/L and/or G.C.E. O/L with six passes including Mathematics, English and Sinhala.
- Around 15 years of progressing experience and a minimum of 5 years proven capabilities in successfully managing sales teams in the Insurance Industry.
- Sales / Marketing / Business Management / Insurance qualification or part qualification from an industry recognized institution will be an added advantage.
Skills and Attributes
- Very good persuasion, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Successful Team Manager with good interpersonal and interaction skills.
- Very good analytical skills.
