JOB PROFILE
- Plan and execute internal audit assignments across business functions, from planning through reporting and follow-up.
- Conduct process walkthroughs, risk assessments, and control evaluations in line with the IIA Standards and the Company's Internal Audit methodology.
- Evaluate internal controls, governance processes, and risk management practices, while identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare clear, insightful audit reports with practical recommendations to strengthen business processes.
- Collaborate with business units to support process improvements, policy reviews, and new business initiatives.
- Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and support the continuous enhancement of the Company's control environment.
- Contribute to the adoption of data analytics and technology-driven audit practices to improve audit effectiveness.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline will be an added advantage.
- Part qualification or past finalist status in CA Sri Lanka, ACCA, CIA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, risk management, or a related field, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector.
- Sound understanding of internal controls, governance frameworks, risk management principles, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and report writing skills, with proficiency in MS Office. Exposure to data analytics tools will be an added advantage.
