Account Assistant
Join our team and support the finance department by assisting with daily accounting operations and maintaining accurate financial records.
Qualifications
- G.C.E. Advanced Level in Commerce or any stream.
- Part qualification in AAT / CA / CIMA / ACCA or a Certificate / Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field will be an added advantage.
- 0–2 years of experience in accounting or a similar role, preferably in a hospital or corporate environment.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Strong numerical, analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to work accurately, meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Assist with invoice processing, payment entries and voucher preparation.
- Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers and supporting documents.
- Reconcile cash, bank and supplier statements as required.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Prepare data for monthly reports and account summaries.
- Handle filing, data entry and document verification accurately.
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding billing and payment-related matters.
- Perform other finance and administrative duties assigned by the supervisor.
