CENTRAL MECHANICAL WORKSHOP ATHURUGIRIYA
K. D. A. Weerasinghe & Co. (Pvt.) Ltd., a leading Construction Company with CIDA Grade CS2 and compliance certifications for QMS, EMS, and OHSAS, invites applications for the following vacancies at its Central Mechanical Workshop in Athurugiriya. We are seeking dynamic and energetic professionals to join our team.
01 Workshop Manager
- B.Sc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 years’ work experience in the relevant field.
- Strong technical knowledge of vehicles and inspection procedures.
- Good leadership, communication, and people management skills.
- Strong management and coordination skills with the ability to lead teams effectively.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
- Computer literacy and professional management qualifications will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems and hydraulic components in heavy vehicles and machinery will be preferred.
02 Mechanical Engineer
- B.Sc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the relevant field.
- Experience in undertaking repairs/maintenance of heavy vehicles, machinery and equipment.
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems and hydraulic components in heavy vehicles and machinery will be an added advantage.
03 Automobile Mechanics
- NVQ Level 04 or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in the relevant field.
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems and hydraulic components in heavy vehicles and machinery will be an added advantage.
Salaries will be based on the qualifications & experience of the selected candidates.
