ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT/SENIOR ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsibility of preparing bank reconciliations.
- Full responsibility of preparing Financial statements.
- Responsibility of checking fixed assets registers & computation of depreciation.
Preparing bank related documentation including fund transfer letters etc.
Handling all the documentation & record maintenance via online platforms.
- Preparing relevant management reports.
- Liaising with auditors and tax authorities.
Sound knowledge in accounting standards & taxation.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Degree in Accounting/ Business Management or fully or partly qualified in ICASL or CIMA with more than 3-5 year's post qualifying experience in a leading establishment in an executive capacity.
- Strong excel skills together with data analysis software (familiar with placing and extracting documents in box)
- Excellent knowledge of banking transactions & related matters, accounting & financial principles with knowledge of QuickBooks.
- Knowledge in VAT/SVAT & other taxes.
Excellent Communication in English both written and oral.
Highly organized, structured and deadline oriented.
Excellent time and self-management skill, ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines required and be comfortable with large data volume.
- Preferably a candidate below 45 yrs., who resides in Colombo or its Vicinity.
