SENIOR MANAGER PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
We are looking for a dynamic individual with a passion to pursue a career in the Product Development Department. The ideal candidate should be an energetic team player with excellent communication, a proactive attitude, ability to be self-motivated, and work independently to achieve tight deadlines.
Role & Responsibility
- Fully assess to ensure that developments are accelerated and ensure that machinery is available to manage bulk assuming that all developments turn into bulk orders.
- Effectively administrate skills to manage and cater swimwear, activewear, athleisure & casualwear.
- Deciding all product and technical specifications for the garment, including the construction and operation sequence, and the machine, attachment, and work methods to meet the customer's expectations.
- Coordinating and effectively communicating with the customer on product-related issues pertaining to fit, construction, technical specifications, and materials.
- Analyzing sketches and samples, understanding customer requirements, and guiding the team to develop samples ensuring the viability of bulk production.
- Effectively manage & optimize PD Digital solution PD system, 3D pattern making CLO & review how more customers could be offered digital solutions application.
- Improve costing turnaround time to 02 days & 01 day for amendments costing.
- Achieve RFT for fit samples.
- Achieve RFT for all submitted costings & all dispatched samples.
- Evaluate training requirements to enhance knowledge of the team.
- Ability to contribute to product required bonding & laser.
Qualifications & Experience
- 10 years industry experience with a minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar capacity
- Bachelor's degree in design/management
- Degree in any Management field or certificate holder in Business Management
- ICT Literacy
- Presentation, Negotiation, and independent decision-making skills
- Customer orientation/ Strategic Thinking/ Process mindset
- Result orientation/Sense of urgency
- Extensive experience in pattern & garment technology is a must.
