Associate Data Centre Assistants - IT
Job Responsibilities
Perform day end operations with regard to different systems.
Backup and restore operations and maintaining backups.
Monitor ATMs and communication lines and take actions to rectify failures.
- Monitor data replication from AS/400 production machine to DR machine.
- Perform test EODs and attend to error corrections in Test and Development machines.
- Maintain logs regarding various hardware and software errors and actions taken.
- Coordinate with other technical staff and vendors for error rectification.
The Person
- Diploma in IT from a recognized institution.
- Experience in AS/400/Linux / ALIX /windows environments will be an added advantage.
- Experience in IT will be an added advantage.
