Korea Friends of Hope International is constituted and registered as a Voluntary Social Services/ Non-Governmental Organization, at the National Secretariat for Non-Governmental Organizations under the Foreign Ministry Sri Lanka. Overall mission is to Support low-income families to meet their basic nutrition, education and health needs through cooperating with local and international public & private stakeholders. It is closely in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Sri Lanka and Districts and Divisional Secretariats.

Currently KFHI is seeking suitable individuals for below positions to run its works in Sri Lanka. JOB TITLE: Administrative & Finance Assistant

JOBTYPE: Full-time

LOCATION: Badulla

SUPERVISOR/MANAGER: Field Operation Manager & Finance Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preparing and submitting all the financial documents, reports, letters as required by public and private stakeholders.
  • Ensuring office supplies are maintained, including checking inventory and working with vendors to ensure adequate levels of necessary supplies at all times
  • Occasionally traveling off-site to monitoring project, deliver reports or files to relevant authorities
  • Ensuring the confidentiality and security of files and filing systems
  • Coordinating schedules, arranging meetings, distributing memos and reports and ensuring that everyone is kept current of necessary company news and information

Maintain database and track attendance record.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Part qualification in CASL, CIMA or Part / fully qualified in AAT
  • • At least one (01) year previous work experience in NGO sector Accounts/Finance & Admin unit that involved processing and tracking Invoice, banking, Procurements, payments, Petty cash handling, accounting, HR and producing financial and other reporting. Ability to work in accounting software systems - Quick book.
  • Ability to use Microsoft office applications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and presentation abilities.
  • Committed, responsible and able to work under pressure and limited time frames.
  • Ability to carry out the work on an independent basis as well as in working groups and
  • teams.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, Sinhala.
  • Valid Driving License for Light Vehicle with Motorbike
  • Ability to visit Partners / CBO office in time to time.
  • Age 20-45 years
  • Residency in Badulla and Soranathota is preferred.
