KSPA Embilipitiya Paper Mills Private Limited is an exciting new business vertical under KSPA Packaging. The revival of a once-thriving industry and an organization are among the primary objectives.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Intern to join our Procurement team at Embilipitiya Paper Mills. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in the procurement and supply chain management field within the dynamic environment of a leading paper manufacturing company. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, contribute to real-world projects, and gain insights into the operations of our procurement department.

Job Profile:

  • Assist in sourcing and purchasing raw materials, equipment, and services required for the manufacturing process.
  • Support procurement team members in supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract management activities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
  • Assist in maintaining procurement databases, records, and documentation in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in inventory management activities, including stock monitoring, replenishment, and optimization.
  • Contribute to cost-saving initiatives, process improvements, and efficiency projects within the procurement function.
  • Assist in analyzing procurement data and generating reports to support decision-making and performance evaluation.
  • Person Profile:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Eagerness to learn and willingness to take on new challenges.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
