Finance Manager - Ethiopia

Scope

The Finance Manager is tasked with overseeing all financial aspects critical to the company's success within the industry. This role involves managing financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance evaluation. And ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and effective cost management to optimize profitability.

Responsibilities

. Developing and managing the company's financial models, forecasts, and budgets. Analyzing financial performance, identifying trends, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.

Conducting variance analysis to assess deviations from budgeted or forecasted financial results.

Overseeing the preparation and distribution of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Providing accurate and timely financial reports to internal stakeholders (such as senior management) and external parties.

Monitoring and analyzing costs associated with manufacturing, inventory, distribution, and other operational activities.

Developing strategies to mitigate risks and ensure financial stability.

Managing cash flow to ensure liquidity and meet financial obligations.

Collaborating with senior management to develop financial strategies aligned with business objectives.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field is required.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) or a Master's in Finance.

Significant experience in finance or accounting roles is essential, with at least 5-7 years of progressive experience in financial management.

Ability of working in Ethiopia is must.
