Associate Engineer - Systems Support

We are looking for an Associate Engineer - Systems Support to join our dynamic team. As an Associate Engineer - Systems Support, you will be responsible for Organizations ERP Systems Administration, Technical and End User Support, predominantly. You will also work closely with peer Support Engineers, Developers, and technical managers to ensure the organization's IT systems Operation is flawless.

Job Role

Providing Level 01 support for Enterprise Business Applications and Systems

Engage with Service Desk Operation and Technical Support management team to ensure that the group level technical support, Service calls and end user support requests are duly logged and followed up.

Establishing the root causes of application errors and escalating to the Level 2 support through the IT ServiceDesk.

Carrying out Change Request preparations, Application Deployments, Version upgrades, and Fixes by liaising with respective stakeholders.

Keeping a record of configuration changes and scheduling application updates.

Coordinating with business units to gather requirements and assist superiors to implement such enhanced solutions. Liaising with the group QA team, Software development teams, business users, and vendors to improve application availability and performance.

Coordinating with Infrastructure operations team and ensuring hosted application systems operation is flawless. Documenting processes such as UAT cases, test report preparation, application health checklists, and monitoring application performance metrics.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in computer science or similar, or equivalent qualifications.

Should have a minimum of 01 year of working experience in a similar role and business capacity.

Sound knowledge of the front end and back-end programming languages (.NET ecosystem, ASP.NET, JavaScript, preferred.) Sound knowledge in SQL Database administration and performance monitoring.

Sound knowledge of Web Services and API integrations (WSDL, Rest API, etc.)

Strong proficiency in determining the causes of application errors, debugging, and troubleshooting.

Ability to multi-task and work on strict deadlines/priorities.

Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
