ACCOUNTANT Urgent Vacancy -Kandy
Job Role

Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivables, billing, general ledger entries, and month-end/year-end close processes.
Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to the management team to support business decision- making.
Prepare Corporate Tax Computations, VAT, SAT, Differed VAT, WHT, SSCL & other Tax Returns and Schedules ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements of the Inland Revenue Department in relation to payments, reporting & other matters.
- Manage the Stores Departments (Sub deptof Finance) with its key processes such as inventory costings, inventory movements, procurement management & distribution planning.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Qualifications
A Degree in Accounting & Finance from a recognized university or qualified in equivalent professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA or CASL
Minimum of 10 years of working experience in the field of Accounting & Finance, with a minimum of 5 years in a Managerial level or similar capacity, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
- Having practical knowledge of taxations, generally accepted accounting principles & SLFRS/IFRS
- Perfect communication skills, analytical skills, and people management skills with the ability work independently
