EXECUTIVE - INTERNAL AUDIT (Locations - Head Office)
As the Executive - Internal Audit, the selected candidate will be required to perform risk-based Internal Audits in accordance with the annual internal audit plan. The selected candidate will be reporting directly to the Manager - Internal Audit and joining a team of experienced audit staff in the field of Non - Banking and Finance Industry. This opportunity will pave the way for a mutually beneficial career within the Company.
The Job Role
- Conduct audit assignments as per the annual risk based Internal Audit Plan
- Prepare draft Internal Audit Reports highlighting audit observations and make recommendations to further improve processes while mitigating identified risks
- Review / carry out audits on financial reporting and treasury functions and perform testing of relevant control
- • Review and monitor internal controls applicable to key processes in Branches and Departments in order to evaluate their effectiveness and recommend improvements to mitigate the overall risk exposure of the respective units audited
- Perform follow up reviews to monitor implementation of agreed action plans
- Prepare reports for the information of the Board approved Audit Sub Committees
Experience/Qualifications/Skills
- Possess 01-02 years of progressive experience in Executive grade(Preferably in a Finance/Banking environment)
- Conversant with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience in Credit and IT-related auditing will be an added advantage
- Degree in Finance/Management/Accounting or similar discipline will be an added advantage
• Part Qualifications in ICASL/ACCA/CIMA
