Junior Business Development Executive (Software Industry)

This position plays a crucial role in the growth and expansion of the company by identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and assisting in the development and implementation of strategies to drive revenue growth. The required candidate has to fulfill the following.

Basic requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management from a recognized University.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of sales related experience.
  • Must have:
  • Excellent English with clear communication, articulation and not afraid to open mouth.
  • Presentation skills with ability to handle unexpected situations.
  • Updated knowledge on market trends.
  • Nice to have:
  • Familiar with MS Office Package, especially PowerPoint and Word.
  • Sales experience of ERP systems will be an added advantage.

Your Responsibilities

  • Conducting market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitor activities. This includes analyzing industry reports, gathering data on potential clients, and staying updated on market developments.
  • Generating leads through various channels such as cold calling, networking events, social media, email campaigns, and referrals. This involves reaching out to prospective clients and initiating conversations to explore business opportunities.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential clients. This includes understanding their needs, addressing their concerns, and providing solutions that align with their business objectives.
  • Collaborating with the management and software development team to develop proposals, presentations, and sales materials tailored to the needs of prospective clients. This may involve conducting product demonstrations.
  • Assisting senior business development professionals in closing deals by providing administrative support, coordinating meetings, and following up on leads. This may also involve participating in client meetings and presentations.
  • Staying updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to business development.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as sales, marketing, product development, and finance to ensure alignment and coordination of business development efforts with overall company objectives.
