Job Responsibilities

Trainee Executive / Executive Procurement

  • Assist in sourcing suppliers/vendors for goods and services.
  • Obtain and compare price quotes from multiple suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.
  • Process purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to confirm delivery dates and ensure timely receipt of goods.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, including purchase orders, invoices, and contracts.
  • Assist in negotiating terms and pricing with suppliers under the guidance of the Manager of Procurement.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as Finance and Operations, to ensure alignment of procurement activities.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in inventory management to avoid stockouts or excess inventory.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining procurement documentation.
  • Provide general support to the procurement team and assist with ad hoc projects as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a procurement role in the hospitality industry is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and procedures is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
