Accounts Executive
Tudor V. Perera & Co. is a firm of practicing Chartered Accountants. We carry out audits (External/Internal) of various business in accordance with the auditing standards laid down by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka).
We are in the search to obtain the services of a suitable candidate for the above position.
The right candidate will possess the required experience in the field of auditing, ability to make independent decisions, understand different business needs, dependable, effective communication skills, high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Job Responsibilities
Thorough understanding in accountancy and should be able to prepare final accounts independently
Good knowledge in Sri Lanka Financial Reporting Standards for Small and Medium Size Entities (SLFRS for SME'S) and Sri Lanka Financial Reporting Standards for Smaller Entities
- Good understanding on Sri Lanka Auditing Standards
Fair knowledge in taxation
Ability to write/maintain books of accounts of multiple clients
You will be directly reporting to Audit Managers/Partners
Candidate Profile
- Age between 24-28
- Experience as an audit trainee for at least 2 years with a proven track record
- Ability to perform the duties with strict confidentiality and at all times should demonstrate sound work ethic, be respectful, be flexible and should be honest and trustworthy
Good command in written and spoken English
Qualifications
- ✰ CA Sri Lanka business level (intermediate level) or above (AAT, CMA, CIMA, ACCA equivalents can also apply)
