EXECUTIVE - FINANCE

We are recruiting for Executive - Finance for Stretchline Sri Lanka to join Stretchline Holdings Ltd, the world's largest supplier of narrow elasticated fabrics, covered yarns, dyed yarns, and textile innovations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for implementing controls and procedures for petty cash handling, including designated custodians, regular reconciliations, and documentation requirements. Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Should perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy between company records and bank statements.

Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner and update financial records with reconciled bank transactions.

Reconcile various balance sheet accounts on a periodic basis to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data and identify and investigate any variances or discrepancies in reconciled accounts. Process and manage ad hoc payments as required, including vendor payments, reimbursements, and other miscellaneous expenses.

Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial regulations in all payment processes.

Should contribute to the analysis of financial data and trends to support decision-making processes.

Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies.

Participate in internal audits and implement recommended improvements to financial processes and controls.

Qualifications and Experience:

A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification in Finance/Accountancy from a reputed university.

2-3 years' experience in a similar capacity

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
