We are recruiting for Senior Executive- Sourcing & Supply Chain (RM & Development) for Stretchline Sri Lanka to join Stretchline Holdings Ltd, the world's largest supplier of narrow elasticated fabrics, covered yarns, dyed yarns, and textile innovations.

Key Responsibilities:

Participate for collaborative product development sessions with internal teams, customers & suppliers and support the long-term development road map by sourcing and developing new materials and resolve related technical issues.

Maintain close working relationships with raw material manufacturers and suppliers while assessing, auditing, identifying and sorting out potential challenges.

Manage the pre-production discussions with yarn suppliers to facilitate resolving of all relevant issues, arrange visit to respective mill if required to confirm product performance and suitability for purpose.

  • Audit production facilities of existing and potential suppliers to verify process capabilities and conformity to match with customer and internal standards.

Regular review of price trends and effective engagement with suppliers.

Undertake projects which support Stretchline's vertical integration movements and do financial analysis to assess the project viability.

Develop polymer materials, auxiliaries which helps to innovative new product solutions by improving the value addition in the current product portfolio.

  • Research on new/innovative raw materials solutions and timely RM sourcing for bi-yearly Seasonal Product Catalog.

Maintaining supplier related compliance documents monthly & timely resolution of raw material quality issues.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • B.ScEngineering degree in the field of Textile, Chemical, Materials or similar from a recognized university Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar capacity
  • Knowledge in supply chain management, polymer science, yarn production, knitting, dyeing and finishingExcellent interpersonal & communication skills
