Primary Job role
As a QA Test Automation Intern, you will be responsible for assisting the QA team in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality of software applications. Your duties may include creating and maintaining automated testing frameworks, writing test scripts, performing regression testing, identifying and reporting bugs, and collaborating with the development team to address issues. Additionally, you may be asked to participate in code reviews, contribute to test documentation, and support continuous integration and deployment processes.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Create and maintain automated test scripts.
- Track and record test execution results with reports and KPIs.
- Support development of automation scripts at all layers of the application stack (Web/API)
- Support testing and quality activities in an Agile environment
- Support tool research, analysis, and selection
