UNIT PRODUCTION MANAGER
We are searching for the right candidate to oversee our modular manufacturing units, specifically in ladies' fashion garment production. The ideal candidate should exhibit confidence in independently managing the entire manufacturing process and meeting corporate targets.
What You'll Do:
- Assume full accountability for the unit's performance and profitability.
- Manage the team according to AQL 1.5 standards.
- Demonstrate independent planning capabilities.
- Maintain labour turnover and absenteeism in line with established KPIs.
- Take responsibility for overseeing the garment production process from sample development to final delivery.
What We're Looking For:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in independently managing ladies' fashion manufacturing units. Strong background in work-study and method-study engineering.
Proficiency in handling technical requirements and ensuring final quality standards meet customer expectations.
A minimum of 10 years experience in a similar capacity is required.
INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING EXECUTIVE
We are looking for the right candidates to enhance the production efficiency of our modular manufacturing units, particularly in the context of ladies' fashion garment manufacturing.
What You'll Do:
- Ensure the approved sewing techniques established during the sampling stage are rigorously followed during production.
- Collaborate with the maintenance department to ensure machines are available and well-prepared for bulk production in a timely manner.
- Facilitate the smooth introduction of new styles into the production process, striving to achieve set line feeding efficiencies and production targets.
What We're Looking For:
- Over 5 years experience in similar capacity
A Diploma in textile / clothing management from recognized institute.
Must have knowledge of Ladies Fashion Wear products (product system/technical) Sound knowledge of General Sewing Data (GSD)
PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
The ideal candidate should exhibit confidence in Supervising the entire manufacturing process in our modular units
and meeting daily production Targets specially in the Ladies fashion garment environment.
What You'll Do:
- An excellent understanding & knowledge of sewing techniques and handling methods within a limited time frame in order to facilitate a smooth flow in the production process.
- Must have knowledge of Ladies wear products (System/technical)
- Ability to maintain a close relationship with operators, counsel and motivate in order to assist them familiarize with the working environment.
- Be prepared to work at our Wellawaya Manufacturing Plant
What We're Looking For:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in independently Supervising ladies' fashion manufacturing units.
Proficiency in handling technical requirements and ensuring final quality standards meet customer expectations.
- Preferred age below 40 years.
QUALITY ASSURANCE SUPERVISOR
The ideal candidate should exhibit confidence in maintaining the required quality standard of the Ladies fashion garment environment.
What You'll Do:
- Obtain expected quality standards/technical details from the superiors (after the PP meeting) and educate the team on requirements.
- Check and maintain the quality and measurement requirements of Garments, Poly Bags, Tags, Labels, Packing method, Customer specific details etc so as to ensure customer quality standards.
- Supervise the Quality Checkers, check the rejected garments and take decisions / actions based on the outcome of the audit.
- Must have knowledge of Ladies wear products (Quality/technical)
What We're Looking For:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in independently maintaining quality standards of ladies' fashion manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in maintaining and ensuring final quality standards meet customer expectations.
- Preferred age below 40 years.
TECHNICIAN
The ideal candidate should exhibit confidence pre-anticipating of technical issues, improvements and take production feasible actions to run smooth production process.
What You'll Do:
- Feeding production units as per the layout and guiding Sewing Machine Operators & Supervisors on critical operations and handling of new/repeated style within the QCO environment.
- Respond to the production team as soon as possible when technical concerns arise.
- Analyze each Operations, techniques and handlings, introduce new methods, techniques to boost output and efficiency.
What We're Looking For:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in working in ladies' fashion manufacturing QCO environment. Preferred age below 45 years.
