Job Title:
TECHNICAL ASSISTANT (VIRGIN OIL INTERNATIONAL PVT LTD)
Job Role:
As a Technical Assistant, the job holder will be instrumental in ensuring the optimal and continuous operation of the factory's mechanical and electrical systems. This role is crucial for minimizing downtime, enhancing efficiency, and ultimately contributing to the bottom line. The incumbent will work closely with the engineering team to troubleshoot issues, perform regular maintenance, and implement improvements to systems.
Job Requirements:
- NVQ Level 4 qualification in Industrial Engineering, with a focus on Mechanical or Electrical disciplines
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair issues efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team, with strong communication skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
Ideal candidates should be from Kurunegala/Puttalam region or willing to relocate
