This position is available in the Finance Department of our Colombo terminal operations in Port of Colombo and will report to Assistant General Manager - Revenue.
The Role
The position is responsible for assisting in maintaining an accurate and high-quality billing procedure.
It entails processing customer invoices using primary operational data and timely delivery of all invoices to the correct customers.
Additionally, the position is responsible for building up strong relationships with customers to recover outstanding timely, updating the payments in the system, and preparing reports for the requirements of management.
The Person
Qualifications, Experience and other Attributes
- G.C.E Advanced level 3 passes in commerce stream and a recognized full or part professional Qualification in Accountancy (AAT, CA or any other related)
2 year previous experience in a similar capacity.
Working knowledge in English language and good communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office and other IT applications. Well organized, systematic and high level of integrity.
Good scheduling and follow up skills/Ability to work under pressure and quick learning ability Candidates from colombo and suburbs are encouraged to apply.
