MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT
(MALE) JA-Ela
We are MICRO Finance company who provide finance service to low-income individuals or groups who otherwise would have no other access to finance services. We allow people to take on reasonable small business loans safely, in a manner that is consistent with ethical lending practices. We are looking for a dynamic, Innovation, results oriented individual to join our team.
Requirements:
- Fully/ Partly qualified CIMA, ACCA, or CA Sri Lanka.
- Auditing experience of 2 years or more.
More than 3 years of progressive experience in management accounting Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and experience with financial software systems.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to details and accuracy
Effective to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the management, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Provide insightful commentary and variance analysis to explain financial performance
Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop realistic and achievable financial performance
Prepare rolling forecasts and analyze key drivers of financial performance Monitor and control cost, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency Provide strategic insights based on financial data to support decision-making Implement best practices & Finance policy & procedures in financial management and reporting
