VIDEO EDITOR - MALE
Job Roles:
Coordinate with the scriptwriter and assisting the production crew on the shoot day.
Review scripts to create a shot decision list based on scenes' value and contribution.
Meet with the production team to establish the desired feel and look for the video to be created.
Gather and transfer all forms of media (FB | IG | Tik Tok | YT) into editing software and ensure each was updated in the correct format.
Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video's creation.
Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film.
Improve video and sound quality using various video software.
Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects.
Create rough and final cuts.
Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry's best practices to maximize efficiency.
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a Video Editor.
Diploma or a basic course on video editing.
Hand on experience in video and audio editing software and programs (Adobe Premiere & After Effects).
Ability to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneously.
Creative experience in filmmaking and videography.
Ability to understand the desired outcome of a project when meeting with production team and the ability to bring them to life.
Experience in editing various video projects and inserting sound effects, music and transitions.
Proficient in creating concept boards and other visual representations of planned edits for video projects.
Excellent communication skills are required to have a solid understanding of project scope and implementation.
Knowledge on flying a drone, Mirrorless Camera settings, and shooting on Gimbals are added advantages for a higher salary.
