MULTIMEDIA DESIGNER
Sri Lanka Institute of Nanotechnology (Pvt) Ltd (SLINTEC), the leading Research & Development Centre for Nanotechnology in Sri Lanka, is engaged in innovating new products and adding value to natural resources. SLINTEC aims to develop a world-class Nanotechnology Park in Sri Lanka by attracting investments and establishing collaborations with local and global companies. SLINTEC is the first public-private partnered research institute in Sri Lanka and has made significant progress as a catalyst for change in the field of Science and Technology for over a decade.
We are seeking a motivated and innovative Multimedia Designer to work on producing high-quality brand/marketing collateral and contributing to web and social media communication strategies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Website Management and Content Development:
- Plan, implement, manage, and monitor the SLINTEC website to ensure alignment with SLINTEC's goals.
- Marketing Material Design:
- Adhere to SLINTEC's visual guidelines when creating social media posts, presentations, and other marketing materials.
- Social Media Management:
- Design, build, and maintain SLINTEC's social media presence across platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- A degree from a recognized university (BSc or BBA/BBM/BA/BDes in Media and Communication Design).
- 1 - 2 years' experience in similar job role.
- Proficiency in design software and technologies, including Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Good practical knowledge and experience in various aspects of digital marketing.
- Excellent command of English, especially written English.
- Keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong communication, and presentation skills.
- Skills in photography and video editing are a plus.
