COMPANY SECRETARY

Job Profile

  • Well versed with Stock Exchange Listing arrangements, Rules & Regulations and other matters relating to the compliance with the regulatory Bodies such as the Central Bank of Sri Lanka and Registrar of Companies.
  • Handle secretarial services to the Board and shareholder meetings.
  • Carry out other functions specified in the statutes and other regulations.
  • Advising directors and members of the senior management on corporate governance matters.

Work to ensure a corporate governance culture in the company with the Compliance Department.

Keeping up to date with regulatory or statutory changes that might affect the organization.

Maintaining minutes accurately and precisely ensuring all legal requirements are met.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Possess relevant professional qualifications and be a registered company secretary.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in secretarial service.
  • Experience in attending board meetings independentlyExcellent communication skills in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and leadership qualitiesIndependent & proactive.
  • Age below 45 years.
