Technical Operator

We are seeking a skilled laborer to join our PU foam plant with expertise in electrical installation, PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), and pneumatic systems. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our production equipment, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality output.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain, and repair electrical systems and pneumatic systems in the PU foam plant.
- Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC systems to ensure efficient operation of production processes.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize equipment performance and implement process improvements.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and preventive maintenance tasks.
Requirements:
- NVQ level 5 or equivalent; additional technical education or certification in electrical systems preferred.
- Proven experience in electrical installation, troubleshooting, and repair in an industrial setting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of PLC systems, including programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Experience with pneumatic systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of valves, actuators, and compressors.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime, as needed to support production schedules.
