Tax officer Location - Athurugiriya
We are on the lookout for a dynamic, proactive, detail oriented individual with a proven track record to join hands with our team to expedite expansion plans. You will report directly to the Director Finance.
Principal Accountabilities
- Preparation of Tax computations and Tax Returns in accordance with the respective tax laws and regulations.
- Preparation of quarterly & annual tax reports.
- Providing innovative tax planning and reviewing complex income tax returns.
- Performing the duties assigned to tax payments as per the processes laid out in the company.
- Recording and processing of all Input VAT invoices according to the process in place.
- Reconciliation of Tax-related GL Accounts, assisting the annual report compilation process and assisting to compile the appeals on assessments.
- Contribute to both external and internal audits including audits from the Inland Revenue Department.
- VAT schedule upload in RAMIS after verifying.
- Return filling (VAT,WHT, PAYEE, CIT etc.)
- Obtaining Tax Clearance for foreign remittance.
Pre-requisites
- Full qualification in SLIT/certified tax advisor of CASL and part qualification in CASL.
- Minimum 03 years experience in Finance & at least 02 years in the Tax field.
- Thorough knowledge in Taxation practices.
- Strong analytical, technical, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Familiar with the RAMIS system.
