IT EXECUTIVE -
We are a member of the B.P. de Silva Group of Companies with foreign collaboration, primarily operating as an Investment Holding Company providing support services to our Group.
The B.P. de Silva Group of Companies is one of the most reputed conglomerates venturing into many business segments; Gem & Jewellery, Tea, Skin Care & Cosmetics, Restaurants and Retail trade being the most prominent.
We are on the look out for a dynamic, self-motivated and resourceful individual to join our IT Department in the above capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to and resolve Helpdesk requests.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot software and hardware for ensure uninterrupted business services.
- Support to IT related Policy and SOP documentation.
Configure and setup workstation and system accounts.
Perform scheduled data backups and disaster recovery operation.
- Update and maintain current inventory of IT hardware, software, application resources accurately.
- Vendor relationship management with all key vendors to ensure obtaining the highest standards of service.
- Flexible to work extended hours when required, to meeting project deadlines and resolving critical issues.
Required Qualifications and Competencies
- Degree or Diploma in Information Technology from recognized University or Institute.
- Male or Female below 30 years of age with minimum of 2 years of Proven experience as IT administration and support role.
- Should be an honest, good supportive team player with can do attitude.
- Result oriented work attitude and think out of the box.
- Willingness to learn new technology.
- Knowledge of Backup and utilities, MS 0365, Networking, Firewall, Server, and Storage device configuration.
- Fluent in Sinhala and English both Spoken and Written
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage any Windows client OS, server OS and Linux client OS.
